Recent work: Hostage in Notional Theatre's production of Fragments of Ash August 2011, Edinburgh Festival (Nominated for a Fringe First).
Background I trained at De Leon Drama School in London, also attending RADA Summer School and many classes at The Actor's Centre. At the same time, I performed in stand-up comedy in various venues in London, including The Comedy Store, with actor/writer/producer Mike Bennett. We also performed street theatre regularly at Camden Market.
At drama school I played Principal Girl in Cinderella and Principal Boy in Aladdin, and then went on to play Betty the Cook in The Haughty Princess; The Good Fairy in Jack in the Beanstalk at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings, as well as playing the front of Daisy the Cow, a Ghost and a Brownie!
Other theatre roles included Miss Julie in the Café Theatre Upstairs in St Martin's Lane, understudying Salome in Chesterfield Pomegranate, and the title role of Kate in a theatre tour which included Harlow Playhouse and Theatre Royal, Norwich. I also played Inez in Jean Paul-Sartre's In Camera (No Exit) in fringe venues around London. Around the same time I also appeared in two short films written and directed by BBC writer/ comedian Dave Cohen, called Sunset Strip and Slobs. I also played various English speaking roles in Dinas and Glan Hafren for S4C.
Filming work includes playing Jackie in "Outside The Rules" for the BBC directed by Sallie Aprahamian, playing Katie in short film + DM Davies Prize Winner "Blue Kenny", acting in many corporate DVDs for clients including the Open University, Bayer, Cardiff University, The Dyspraxia Association, NHS Wales, The National Autistic Society, Action on Elder Abuse, RMBI + The Glasgow Riverside Museum.
Featured TV commercials include Mars, Greenalls Beer, Gulf Oil, Sun Life, Rank Xerox, Lillywhites, British Aerospace, Barry Island, @Bristol. Idents include Swalec (Nuts + Bolts) + Song for Wales.
Theatre includes "Kissing Only Mind", directed by Clare Isaac, in Newport's Riverfront Theatre; and a rehearsed reading of Charles Way's "Paradise Drive" at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff, directed by Dave Prince. In 2010 I played Lady Montague in Black Rat Theatre Company's production of "Romeo & Juliet" in Swansea and Cardiff., directed by Rich Tunley/Gareth Bale.
I also have a wide range of experience in improvisation and role play over the last 12 years and was co-founder of role play company Role Play Reactors
